About Our Company
Debbie has been designing and selling clothing for over 30 years. The art of ripping up sweatshirts and making them into jackets came from her rebel days in her high school sewing class in the 70’s. She took a break from sewing, had children, and used her art talent in designing whimsical murals and faux finishing for local businesses, parade of homes and the domestic household. She then took her love of both and started a hand painted clothing company in 2000, which evolved into “Stickchics” in 2006.

Having a sense of humor and taking a whimsical approach to her designs made her stick “chics” come to life. Stickchics can be found in boutiques all across the United States. Her talented group of painters, on time shipping, attention to detail, and her supportive family are her claim to success. Many of Debbie’s inspirations for her designs come from her menagerie of pets; two newfoundlands, eight rag-doll cats; her 35 year old amazon parrot; blue & gold macaw, pond koi and her many hours spent in her flower garden. Part of Debbie’s philosophy comes from a famous singer/song writer who once said, “If we couldn’t laugh, we would all go insane.”
